‘Bru & Boegie: Episode 2’ featured on itch.io

Hallo! The other day to my great surprise I discovered the videogame platform itch.io had featured my game ‘Bru & Boegie: Episode 2 – Get da SUGAR!‘ on their front page as a ‘Featured Game’. That is a very nice thing to happen. Look, here’s a pic of it nice and big:

They also recorded this 48-minute playthrough of the demo. That is also a nice thing to happen:

Got a bunch of nice comments and some good exposure for Episode 2.

In other news, it recently took part in Steam NextFest. I thought I had another week to prep, but I think the date was moved up a week and I went with the dates I put in my calendar a while ago, with the result that it took me by surprise during a time I had (and still have) work on the go with a deadline. So unfortunately I didn’t make the most of NextFest for Episode 2, but still glad it got a bit of a bump.

The feature on itch.io was a nice boost and came at a time where I’ve been humming and haa’ing about what to do with the game. I’m still hoping to find a way to fund or finish the rest of it. 🤞🙏
